RSI consular travel document

1944 Vienna issued for returning back home.

Beautiful and RARE travel document issued to an Italian foreign worker in Nazi Germany for the return home. The RSI existed from late 1943 to the end of April of 1945, after the capture and execution of Benito Mussolini. Italian Socialist Republic official passports are among the most sought after by WW2 collectors, when it comes to passport collecting. Their travel documents are scarce as well and a good addition to one’s collection when found.
